Recovery and Wellness Plan Terms & Conditions

Version Date: January 1st 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all Recovery and Wellness Plans (also referred to as Plans of Care) purchased from The Injury Clinic.

By purchasing a Recovery Plan, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, in addition to the clinic’s general Terms & Conditions.

1. What is a Recovery or Wellness Plan?

A Recovery Plan is a prepaid bundle of sessions (for example, 6, 9 or 12 sessions) recommended by your practitioner to support your rehabilitation. A Recovery Plan may form part, or all, of the care recommended for your condition. Ongoing assessment may result in changes to the number or type of sessions required, which will be discussed with you. Recovery Plans provide structured care and added value but do not guarantee specific outcomes, as response to treatment varies between individuals.

2. Payment and Activation

Recovery Plans must be paid in full at the time of purchase. Once payment is made, the plan is active and sessions may be booked.

3. Sessions Included

Each session entitles you to one standard appointment of the duration agreed at purchase, provided by The Injury Clinic and used only where clinically appropriate and recommended by your treating practitioner.

4. Validity and Expiry

All Recovery Plan sessions must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused sessions expire after this period and are not refundable, unless required by law.

5. Cancellations, Late Notice and Missed Appointments

Appointments booked using a Recovery Plan are subject to the clinic’s standard 24-hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the session being deducted from the Recovery Plan.

6. Refunds and Cooling-Off Period

Where required under UK consumer law, a 14-day cooling-off period applies to Recovery Plans purchased at a distance (e.g. online or over the phone). If any sessions are used during this period, their cost may be deducted at the standard single-session rate. Once any session has been used, unused sessions are non-refundable, except where required by law.

7. Transferability and Session Use

Recovery Plans are non-transferable and may only be used by the individual named at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the clinic. Where clinically appropriate, unused sessions may be used for the treatment of other conditions or eligible services for the same client, provided this is within the plan’s validity period.

8. Recovery Plan Benefits

While your Recovery Plan is active, you may be eligible for additional benefits to support your care. All benefits are subject to availability and clinical suitability.

a) Service Guarantee -The clinic is committed to providing a high standard of professional care and service. This guarantee relates to service quality only and does not guarantee clinical outcomes, which may vary between individuals. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your care, please notify the clinic as soon as possible so that concerns can be addressed.

b) Personalised Home Recovery Programme – Where clinically appropriate, you may be provided with a personalised home exercise or recovery programme to support your progress between appointments.

c) Priority Booking – Recovery Plan clients may receive priority access to available appointment times where possible. This is subject to practitioner availability and does not guarantee specific appointment dates or times.

 d) Flexible Session Use – Where clinically appropriate, sessions may be used flexibly across eligible services offered by the clinic, subject to practitioner recommendation and availability. Sessions cannot be exchanged for cash.

 e) Ongoing Support Between Sessions – Non-urgent guidance may be available via email or text during clinical hours between appointments. This support does not replace face-to-face assessment, diagnosis, or emergency care.

 f) Discounts on Wellness and Recovery Products – Recovery Plan clients may be eligible for discounts on selected products or services offered by the clinic. Discounts are non-transferable, cannot be combined with other offers unless stated, and may be withdrawn at the clinic’s discretion.

9. Changes to Treatment or Practitioner

Your Recovery Plan may be reviewed or adjusted based on ongoing assessment and clinical judgement. Care may be provided by one or more suitably qualified practitioners. Where appropriate, reasonable efforts will be made to maintain continuity. All practitioners involved will have access to your clinical records and work within the agreed plan of care.

10. Suspension or Early Termination

In exceptional circumstances (such as long-term illness), the clinic may agree to temporarily pause a Recovery Plan at its discretion. If treatment is no longer clinically appropriate, the clinic reserves the right to discontinue the plan.

11. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will apply to Recovery Plans purchased after the update date.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Recovery Plans and associated benefits are subject to availability, clinical suitability and the clinic’s Terms & Conditions.
